Even though Elayne took a break from photography this past year to go to paramedic school and fulfill that lifelong passion, she had previously built a reputation as one of the most sought-after photographers in Eastern, Nebraska. While beautiful photographs are important, her focus has always been on creating an experience that feels relaxed, enjoyable, and genuinely memorable for every client who steps in front of her camera.

Raised on a farm beneath Nebraska's wide-open skies, Elayne developed an early appreciation for both hard work and the beauty found in everyday moments. After high school, she traded small-town life for years spent traveling, rock climbing, exploring the outdoors, and pursuing creative adventures wherever she could find them.  Elayne has always been a believer of chasing after your dreams, no matter how scary or difficult they may be.

Those experiences continue to shape the way she sees the world and approaches photography today. While her years behind the camera bring confidence and expertise, she remains endlessly curious—always learning, observing, and finding fresh inspiration in all of her surroundings. Her work is grounded in experience without ever feeling stuck in routine.

When she's not photographing families, seniors, and weddings, Elayne loves camping, kayaking, hiking, or planning the next adventure whether in a National Park, or abroad. She's a lover of bluegrass music, wild places, good stories, and the creative process in all its forms.
